The baby owls are growing fast. They can fly now. Today they are in a different tree, but still pretty close to the nest. Here are some updated pictures:
A pair of great horned owls has nested in the tree outside our back door. This is their second year. This spring they had 2 baby chicks and we finally got to see them! They are so fluffy and cute. I'm posting some pictures. They aren't the best but I did the best I could considering tree height and camera quality. Wish you were here, Dev!!
I haven't posted in awhile so I thought I'd do a quick update. Not too much exciting here. I've been tuning almost everyday since we got back from spring break, so it's been busy. We had an egg hunt at my mother-in-law's last weekend. The girls decided to get haircuts (well, after Reagan saw Justine's hair, she had to have hers cut, too). I'm also posting a picture of one of the brush piles we burned in our field. We had some trees and brush cleared this winter so that we can run our irrigation system this year, so after the logs and firewood were taken out, we had some brush to burn.
Mother of five. Part-time piano tuner. Love living in the country. I now have 3 teenagers. The older they get, the busier I get!! It's not about keeping up, but more about not getting TOO far behind!
